Sicilian Red Grape originating from Spanish region of the same name was introduced in Sicily around XVIII century. Grown mainly in the province of Catania and Messina. In Sicily it found the ideal climate for producing a well-structured wine ,well-balanced  and harmonious. The color is ruby ​​red .It has an aroma of ripe red fruit and spices and an aftertaste of almonds. Used by wineries like Gambino, Reggia Corte on Mount Etna
